To expand its programming team and strengthen its internal technology, Arkane studios Lyon is seeking talented Engine Programmers. These positions are opened to different levels of expertise, from industry veterans to less experienced candidates.

Responsible for adapting, maintaining and optimizing the code of our game engine for PC and consoles. Multipurpose, he/she will deal with technology issues that will come up during production (IO, audio, physics, rendering, memory, and etc)

Responsibilities

•    Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project.
•    Develop and optimize the code of engine subsystems by taking full advantage of target hardware and architecture.
•    Work with the studio existing software technology and build new technology inorder to fulfill the project’s technical requirements.
•    Research coding techniques and algorithms in order to keep current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry.
•    Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks

Tools Programmer

Overview

To expand its programming team and strengthen its internal technology, Arkane studios is seeking talented Tools Programmers. These positions are opened to different levels of expertise, from industry veterans to less experienced candidates. Reporting to the Lead Tools Programmer, the ideal candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining a wide range of production tools in the game editor.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new tools across various game development disciplines (art, level design, animation, build automation)
  • Communicate with other departments to improve and debug existing tools, workflow and practices
  • Provide support and documentation to the users of the tools

As a producer you ensure that the project vision is realized while communicating status to keep everyone aligned. You play a key role in coordinating, planning, analyzing team metrics and establishing a development environment designed to help the team achieve success.

Responsibilities

Oversee all planning and schedules:

  • Ensure adherence to project release schedules and delivery of milestones on time and on target quality
  • Create and update schedules and tasks, ensure status is communicated widely, keeping stakeholders, leadership, and the team aligned
  • Drive the sprint milestone goals with the leads of the teams you are in charge of
  • Daily track and review the status of the game, and remove blockers for all on going work

Project, budget and headcount forecasts and follow-up:

  • Forecast the required headcount and time development costs

The Game Systems Designer will oversee the design, implementation and tuning of game systems to ensure the best moment-to-moment gameplay experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the creative director and lead the effort to develop some of the game systems in support of the project’s goals
  • Work hand in hand with other system designers to ensure consistency between all the game systems
  • Coordinate with a team of developers (gameplay programmers, animators, UI artist, sound engineers..) to implement and polish the systems he/her is in charge of
  • Generate design documentation to clearly communicate ideas and goals to the team

Reporting directly to the Studio Director, the Operations Director take on the day-to-day and long-term financial and administrative responsibilities of our studio. He/she is the organizational and administrative backbone of our studio and ensures our internal supports services (finances, purchasing, facilities and other admin support tasks) are running smoothly to offer a great workplace to our dev teams in a budget-controlled manner.

Responsibilities

Studio financial monitoring:

  • Develop the budget of the studio G&A expenses in coordination with the Studio Director, the Accounting Manager and the heads of the support departments: HR, Premises, IT.
  • Validate purchase requests related to G&A, analyze their consistency with budgets
  • Assist the Studio Director with the creation of new project's budgets
  • Assist the Studio Director with the tracking of the projects cost during the development (analysis of the actual
    expenses, updates of the forecast, adjustment of the gaps and optimizations)
  • Ensure that timesheets are completed monthly and analyze time gaps relative to budgets
  • Quarterly update the studio budget for reporting to the ZMI Finance Department
  • Pilot and optimize the main cost items of the studio
  • Prepare and monitor approval applications and required documentations for Tax Credits, in coordination with the Accounting Manager and consultants
  • With the Accounting Manager of Zenimax, manage the relations with the Accountants and Auditors on key
    events: annual tax closes, tax audit, etc.


Projects vendors management:

  • Manage the main purchases related to projects (subcontractors, middleware licenses, development kits, etc.), in collaboration with Producers: requests for quotes, validation of purchases, review and negotiation of contracts, etc.
  • Help producers to set up subcontractor contracts and monitor the budget and invoicing of subcontractors
  • Improve subcontracting management processes, including insourcing within the group
  • Create external partnerships with vendors to leverage resources and cost advantages.


Legal Management:

In coordination with the Corporate Legal team and external legal advisors:

  • Manage local Legal topics for the studio: lease changes, G&A supplier contract negotiations, etc.
  • Control the legal commitments of the studio (insurance, G&A vendors, ...)
  • Ensure the studio's compliance with the law and ensure a legal watch

Premises and Security Management:

  • Manage the Office Manager to define and monitor a maintenance policy of the premises and their equipment, define and monitor a security policy for the premises and the employees
  • Prepare and monitor contingency plans in the event of incidents, play a key role in the Emergency Management Group of the studio
  • Ensure with the Office Manager that the office plan (team's desks positioning) is updated and optimized on a regular basis, in coordination with the producers and leads of the teams
  • Manage changes or extensions of premises: be the key contact for the landlord, search for opportunities on the market, negotiate for lease entries / exits, search for service providers (architects, construction companies, etc.) definition of specifications, establishment of contracts and budget, follow-up during the works, etc …

Pour renforcer notre équipe RH, nous recherchons un.e Sr HR Generalist spécialisé.e en droit social français, désireux.se de développer sa carrière dans les Ressources Humaines avec un rôle centré, mais non limité, aux relations sociales et à la bonne application de la législation sociale française.
Votre rôle principal sera d'apporter votre expertise en droit social et d’accompagner la direction à assurer un dialogue de qualité avec les salaries et les IRP. Ce poste vous permettra également d'élargir vos connaissances dans plusieurs disciplines des RH, en soutien de la Sr HR Manager ainsi que de l'équipe RH de Lyon. Responsibilities

Relations individuelles:
